MISSION STATEMENT

 

The Mission Statement of Troop 1306 is to first,

 

Uphold the Mission statement of the Boy Scouts of America, which is, “Prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and the Scout laws.

 

Secondly,

Our mission is to deliver a robust and enriching BSA program so that each Scout can achieve meaningful personal growth and character development.

Troop 1306 is based upon a set of values in addition to those of the Boy Scouts:

This is an important statement with much deeper meaning than just following the buddy system while hiking. It means that Troop 1306 Scouts befriend, support, and defend each other in all of life’s challenges. We all walk through life together.
